“No enemy, no opposition, no conspiracy can stop a man whom God has decided to honor.”
INTRODUCTION
Who is he or she before a God who uses Haman to decorate Mordecai? Who is the one standing against you when God has already decided to lift you?
There are the people who think they can delay your destiny, people who believe their power, connections, and influence can stop what God has ordained. But let me tell you something-when God turns the tables, your enemies will become your announcers, your persecutors will become your promoters, and those who sought your downfall will be the ones used to lift you up!
Let’s take a deeper look at this divine mystery through the life of Mordecai.
MAIN MESSAGE
1. When the Enemy Thinks It’s Over, God is Just Getting Started!
Mordecai had no power, no position, no voice in the palace. Haman had everything-wealth, influence, and the king’s favor. By human standards, Mordecai was finished! Haman had even built gallows to hang him.
But what Haman didn’t realize was that Heaven had already rewritten the script!
The same king who ignored Mordecai for years suddenly could not sleep.
The same book of records that was closed was suddenly opened.
The same Haman who planned Mordecai’s destruction was the one who was made to decorate him!
Who is he before a God who turns enemies into instruments of favor?
2. When God Wants to Lift You, Your Enemies Will Be Forced to Announce You! (Say Amen!)
Haman was so sure the king wanted to honor him. When the king asked, “What should be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Haman designed the best honor possible-royal robes, the king’s horse, and a public parade.
(Esther 6:6-11)
But what happened?
The king said, “Do exactly what you have described-but do it for Mordecai!”
Haman, the same man who hated Mordecai, was the one forced to lead him on horseback, announcing his honor to the city.
The enemy who plotted Mordecai’s downfall became the messenger of his elevation!
For years, Mordecai was forgotten. Have you ever felt like that?
•You pray, but there is no answer.
•You work hard, but no one notices.
•You help others, but when it’s your turn, they forget you.
Listen! If Mordecai had been honored earlier, it would have been a private reward!
I prophesy: The same people who mocked you will witness your rising! The same ones who said ‘you are finished’ will celebrate you! In Jesus’ name!
3. God Overturns the Enemy’s Plans in One Night!
In one night, the king’s heart was stirred.
In one night, the book of remembrance was opened.
In one night, Mordecai moved from a forgotten man to a celebrated leader.
That is how God works-suddenly, unexpectedly, gloriously!
Who is that witch? Who is that boss? Who is that enemy that thinks they can bury your destiny?
When God is for you, no Haman can destroy you!
CLOSING REFLECTION
“Who is he or she before a God who takes the wicked and turns them into instruments of elevation?”
•Your enemies will decorate you.
•Your persecutors will promote you.
•Your delay will turn into a divine setup.
•Your testimony will shock your enemies!
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for everyone going through difficult seasons.
2. For those who feel forgotten, Lord, remember them today!
3. For those who are battling unseen enemies, God of Mordecai, turn the plans of the wicked against them!
4. For those who have sown in tears, let them reap in joy!
5. Lord, do not delay their season of remembrance any further!
