WHEN THE CHINESE AMBASSADOR TO NIGERIA, VISITED
Today, I led some of my distinguished colleagues, to receive in courtesy, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Yu Dunhai.
I urged him to continue in the line of helping to improve the diplomatic and trade relations between Nigeria and China, especially helping to promote the democratic relations through the Parliament.
The Parliament of Nigeria and its counterpart in China should be much more closer. It is not out of place, if we have the Nigeria/China Parliamentary Friendship Group, so that we can continue to exchange ideas on how we can assist our countries.
I informed the Chinese Envoy and his team that Nigeria has a lot to learn from China and we are very prepared to do so.
I thanked him for visiting the Nigerian Senate. I assured the team of our cooperation at our own level, to assist in ensuring a fraternal relationship between our countries.
