A devastating crash occurred this morning at Clement Isong Boulevard (Ring Road 3), involving a Toyota Corolla with the license plate NDN-181-TM and a commercial motorcycle. The unfortunate incident was confirmed by an eyewitness who shared same via social media platforms.
According to eyewitness report, the collision left a young woman with serious injuries, including multiple fractures, while the motorcycle rider was found unconscious inside a roadside gutter.
It was reported that swift action from ‘good Samaritans’ ensured provision of emergency services which saw both victims transported to the hospital for urgent medical care.
It was further gathered that the Toyota Corolla driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle while traveling from the Oron Road axis towards Aka Road, leading to the collision with the motorbike.
The Corolla sustained heavy damage with its airbags destroyed during the crash.
