“When Faith Is A Threat”

SCRIPTURE TEXT:
Esther 3:2 – “And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“True faith will always be opposed, but God never forsakes those who stand for Him.”
MESSAGE
“Have you ever wondered why standing for Truth seems to make you enemies?”
Faith doesn’t just inspire-it challenges those who oppose God’s truth.
“Faith does not just bring blessings; it also brings battles
Why? Because faith exposes corruption, challenges oppression, and threatens darkness.
“What if I told you that some of your battles exist because your faith makes the enemy nervous?”
Mordecai, Daniel, the Apostles-everywhere they went, their faith provoked opposition.
“Some of you face opposition not because of what you have done wrong, but because you refuse to compromise.”
1. Faith That Disturbs the Darkness.
Esther 3:5 – “And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did he reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.”
His uncompromising faith made him a target of hatred and destruction.
“If the only reason people hate you is because of your faith, then you are in good company!”
” Hell does not attack what does not threaten it. If your faith is under fire, it means you are dangerous!”
2. Why the World Hates Bold Believers.
Esther 3:6-“And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.”
Haman’s anger against one man’s faith turned into a plot against an entire nation.
“One righteous man can shake an entire kingdom.”
Paul and Silas were imprisoned for standing firm in faith (Acts 16:16-24).
“Are you facing opposition because you refuse to compromise? Hold your ground!”
3. Faith That Provokes Divine Defense.
Daniel 6:22- “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me.”
Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, but God shut the lions’ mouths (Daniel 6:22).
Paul and Silas prayed, and an earthquake set them free (Acts 16:25-26).
“The attacks against you are setting you up for a greater testimony.”
“What the enemy meant for your downfall will become your promotion, in Jesus name. Amen.
Conclusion:
The Greater the Threat, The Greater the Testimony
Mordecai’s faith made him a target, but in the end, God defended him.
“If they throw you in the fire, God will be the fourth man. If they plot your downfall, He will turn it into your lifting!”
“So, will you bow to pressure, or will you stand firm for God?”
“I declare: No attack against you will succeed! Your faith will prevail, and your enemies will be silenced!”
In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
