SCRIPTURE TEXT: Lamentations 3:22-23 – “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Seasons change, but God does not! No matter the trials you face, His faithfulness remains unshaken. He is not a seasonal God-He is the God of all seasons!
INTRODUCTION
Child of God, let me ask you: Have you ever been in a situation so dark that you thought you wouldn’t make it? Have you faced storms that made you question if God was still with you?
Let me remind you of the Amazon Miracle of 2023-a testimony that shook the world! A plane crashed in the deadly Colombian Amazon rainforest.
The aircraft was carrying seven people, including four children. Tragically, three adults, including the pilot, lost their lives.
But here’s where the miracle begins: those four children, the oldest only 13 and the youngest a baby of 11 months, survived for over 40 days in the vast, dangerous jungle! How did they
40 days in the vast, dangerous jungle! How did they do it? How could children, alone in such a perilous environment, survive for so long? The hand of God preserved them! For 40 days, through wild animals, dangerous weather, and the threat of starvation, God kept those children alive! If God could sustain those children in a deadly jungle, He will sustain you in the jungle of life! If He did not abandon them, He will not abandon you!
MAIN MESSAGE:
1. God’s Presence in Every Season.
The Bible says in Isaiah 43:2, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee.”
Do you think your problem is too big for God? Joseph was thrown into prison, but God was with him! Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, but God was with him! The Hebrew boys were thrown into the fire, but God was with them!
If He did not fail them, He will not fail you! That financial crisis will not consume you! That heartbreak will not break you! That sickness will not kill you!
2. Do Not Let Your Season Define Your Faith.
Child of God, seasons change, but God does not! The children in the jungle had nothing-no compass, no roadmap, no security-yet God sustained them! Stop weeping as though you have no God! Stop speaking as if the enemy has won!
3. Faith is the Key to Your Breakthrough.
Faith is not about what you see; faith is about WHO you see! Who do you see in your situation-your problem or Jehovah Jireh? Your sickness or the Great Physician…?
Listen to me: GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU! The same way He did not forget those children, He will not forget you! Your weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming!
CLOSING REFLECTION:
What if this season is not meant to break you, but to build you?
What if God is using this challenge to elevate you to greater faith?
Beloved, don’t give up! Just as those children survived the jungle, you will survive this season, in Jesus Mighty name. Amen!
PRAYER; Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness! No matter what I face, I know You are with me. Strengthen my faith in this season. I declare that this storm will not sink me, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
