In 1992, he had opportunity to emerge as Senate President but sacrificed his ambition so that MKO Abiola could contest for Presidency. In 2007 after he finished his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, he had opportunity to contest for Senate but sacrificed his ambition so that political bandits would not took over power in Lagos State and ruin the state. In 2015, he had ambition to become Vice President but sacrificed his ambition so that the Nation could be free from Treasury looters and their political party.
In 2023, he looked at his front, back, left and right and discovered that the Nation was seriously in need of an Accountant and Economist of high integrity to reposition our economy, being an accountant himself he decided to take the task,he knew that it’s not going to be an easy journey but he believe that with God everything is possible. He ran the primary election-he won,he ran general election-he won. He defeated the naira manipulator,so called villa cabals, Adimeru from Dubai including religion and tribal bigot otherwise known as Yes Daddy .
He restored sanity back to the country, he’s repositioning our economy and sending Terror!sts back to their creators. He gave financial autonomy to Local Governments so that people can feel the present of good governance at grassroots, he gave students loan to students and making dream of farmers coming to reality. Those who feared Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023 are now realizing that the man has no grudge or ill will against anyone.
Those who are waiting to remove him in 2027 will wait tired.
