There was tensed atmosphere yesterday at Umuzocha community in Awka, Anambra State as man who was reportedly murdered by his brother was laid to rest.
It was gathered that the 36-years old Ogbuefi Emmanuel Onwumbiko (Achala Owuwa) was killed by a fellow Awka man.
According to media reports, Chukwunonso was reportedly murdered at the venue of a planned reconciliation meeting over land dispute he had with the suspected assailant.
Yesterday, his remains was committed to mother earth amidst uncontrollable weeping by colleagues, friends well wishers and members of his immediate family.
