Vice President Kashim Shettima has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a World Bank-funded State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) project, which includes a one-stop investment centre and multi-door court in Lafia, as part of events marking his one-day state visit to Nasarawa State.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice President Kashim Shettima oversaw the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in affected Local Government Areas (LGAs) in NasarawaState. He also presided over the presentation of tractors and distribution of Jangwa Paddi Rice to 13 LGAs, sourced from the pioneering Nasarawa Rice Farm project.
The Vice President praised Governor Sule’s exemplary leadership, noting that his outstanding leadership qualities have fostered peaceful coexistence among the state’s diverse ethnic groups while transforming and enhancing agricultural productivity throughout the region.
