The recent moronic report by a shoddy organisation named Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which allegedly lists President Bola Ahmed Tinubu among the so-called “Corrupt Persons of the Year 2024,” is absolute trash and a disgraceful fabrication.
It is deeply unfortunate that a few misguided Nigerians and squalor news outlets are gleefully sharing this baseless and malicious propaganda aimed at tarnishing the image of a leader committed to the progress and development of our great nation.
This reckless attempt to undermine President Tinubu’s integrity lacks credible evidence and reeks of bias. It serves only to distract from his administration’s ongoing efforts to build economic growth, good governance, and national unity.
Nigerians must reject these shameful antics and remain focused on building the nation rather than succumbing to the divisive tactics of those who thrive on lies and controversy.
Frankly, this report is not worth the paper it is printed on and is doomed dead upon arrival. We would not have dignified this moronic publication with a response if not for a few concerned citizens who rightfully felt offended by its baseless content. Let it be clear – the Renewed Hope agenda remains resolute, and no amount of vile propaganda will derail its mission to deliver for the Nigerian people.
In this case, both the wacko message and the unhinged messengers are thoroughly discredited. The messengers’ track record of sensationalism over substance exposes this latest gimmick as a tool for advancing dubious agendas rather than objective reporting. This laughable report is another desperate ploy to remain relevant through cheap and unsubstantiated attacks on a respected global leader. It holds no merit and deserves to be treated with the disdain it rightly earns.
Nigeria is a respectable nation in the world, and as a country, we reject every reductionist insinuation and unfounded claims by any shadowy and mushroom organization to mischaracterise and misrepresent President Tinubu.
