INDEFINITE STRIKE: Arrest NLC President, Ajaero now -Technocrat Alliance urges Police

In a scathing rebuke directed at the Federal Government, the Technocrat Alliance has demanded the immediate arrest of NLC President Joe Ajaero amidst the ongoing nationwide blackout caused by the shutdown of the National Grid. The Alliance accuses Ajaero of orchestrating a deliberate attack on the nation’s infrastructure, endangering lives and crippling essential services.

According to the Alliance National President Chief. Ndiana Asuquo, Ajaero’s collaboration with political figures like Peter Obi underscores the ulterior motives behind the crippling strike, which is purportedly aimed at advancing political agendas rather than addressing the welfare of Nigerian workers.

Critics argue that the shutdown of the National Grid not only plunges the nation into darkness but also disrupts vital services such as healthcare, putting vulnerable lives at risk. While Ajaero and his cohorts may have access to alternative power sources, the majority of Nigerians are left to endure the consequences of the blackout.

Moreover, the Alliance Arising from an Emergency meeting in Uyo, highlights the detrimental impact of the NLC’s demands for an exorbitant minimum wage, warning that such unrealistic demands could lead to widespread job losses in the private sector, exacerbating unemployment and economic instability.

With tensions escalating and the nation’s economy hanging in the balance, the Technocrat Alliance’s call for Ajaero’s arrest reflects growing frustration over the apparent disregard for the well-being of the Nigerian populace in favor of political maneuvering.
