Hon Alex Avakaa, others join, as Gov Alia’s CPS buries uncle

 

The former chairman of Ushongo local government area, Hon Alex Toryila Avakaa, Saturday 15th February, 2025, joined the Chief Press Secretary to the Benue state governor, Sir.Tersoo Kula, bidding farewell to his uncle, Baba Aloysius Kula, at his country tome of Madugu settlement, Mbaanyam, Agir council ward of Ushongo LGA, Benue state.

The Late Baba Aloysius Kula who died at the age of 76 years was like a father to Sir Tersoo Kula, having lost his biological father that was a brother to Baba Aloysius, long ago and had grown under the tutelage of his uncle who took upon himself to see that the family lives.

Speaking on the sidelines of the funeral, Hon Avakaa condoled Sir. Tersoo Kula and the entire family saying that, death is inevitable and asked the CPS to take solace for the fact that his uncle/father has lived a fulfilled life and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Hon Avakaa also prays that the Almighty God will strengthen the hands of the CPS so that, he will be able to take good care of the family his uncle had left behind, calling on the people of Mbaayam to continue their support to Sir. Tersoo Kula, Hon Saater Tiseer and the Alia administration in order to hervest more dividends of democracy.

The 2024 Nigerian Local Government Excellent Award Winner (LOGEXA) emphasised that, the executive governor of Benue state, his excellency Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has performed excellently well in less than two years in office and wonders what will become of the state, after the eight 8 years of his administration, calling on Ushongo people to sustained their support to the governor, all his appointees and elected officials of the government in the area.

Other political gladiator that attended the burial include the executive chairman of Ushongo local government council, Hon Terkimbi Azu, the commissioner of youths and sports development in Benue state, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, the wife of the majority leader and political leader of Ushongo LGA, Mrs. Dooshima Tiseer. the special adviser – SA to the governor on policy and cabinet matters, Chief Samuel Yuwa, the senior special assistant SSA to the governor on transport and logistics, Hon. Sixtus Jande, that of cabinet matters, Hon. Bartholomew Anonguku, the former caretaker chairman & GLO of Ushongo, Hon Mvandaga Atetan with many party supporters and followers.

Others are the Mue Ter Mbagwa, HRH Chief Augustine Gema Alu, Tyoor Agir, Chief Titus Chia Kwaghbo Agule, that of Mbaaka, Chief Atiyar Titus Uva, Mbaawe, Chief Samuel Igbayima Kura, Atirkyese, Chief Abur Nyam and members of the traditional institution in the community.
