Gov Abdulrazaq hails Nigeria’s Youngest, Kwara’s First Professor of Vet Medicine

Governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has congratulated the Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (KWPHCDA), Dr. Nusirat Elelu over her Professorial elevation, saying the feat was not surprising given her hard work, dedication and impressive work ethics.

 

The governor in a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, dated January 29, 2025 noted that at 44, Elelu’s elevation had made her the first Professor of Veterinary Medicine in Kwara state as well as the youngest in Nigeria.

The message read “Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq sends his hearty congratulations to the Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Nusirat Elelu on her rise to the rank of professor of veterinary medicine at the University of Ilorin.

At 44, her promotion reportedly makes her the first female professor of veterinary medicine in Kwara State and the youngest in the country.

Governor Abdulrazaq says the feat was not surprising, given her brilliance, dedication, hard work, and impressive work ethics as the head of the state’s primary health care agency over the last few years.
