Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, today performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Governor’s Lodge in Ogoja Local Government Area.

Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, and several high-ranking government officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony performed by His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu at the Old Governor’s Lodge in Ogoja. His Excellency the Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Peter Odey, PhD was present alongside the Cross River State All Progressives Congress Party’s Chairman Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba and the Chief of Staff to the Government of Cross River State, Hon Ironbar.

The Governor reiterated his commitment to transforming and restoring the glory of the old Ogoja he once knew, having grown up there as a student. The good people of Cross River North assured the Governor of their continued support to his administration.
