Ahead of the 5th October 2024 Local Government Elections in Akwa Ibom State, the Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) has distributed non-sensitive materials from the Commission’s headquarters to the 31 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Chairman of the Commission, Elder Aniedi Ikoiwak who was present with the Electoral Commissioners, said that the distribution of the non sensitive materials was necessary to ensure that all materials are sorted out on time in readiness for election day duties.
