The Honourable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad has approved the extension of resumption date for Federal Unity Colleges (FUCs) from the 5th of January, 2025 to Sunday, 12th January, 2025.
In a release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo and addressed to all Principals of the Federal Unity Colleges, the ministry stated that the resumption was due to ongoing renovation works in most of the colleges.
The release captioned ‘Extension of resumption date of 112 Federal Unity Colleges (FUCs)’ reads “Above subject refers, please.
“I write to inform you that the Honourable Minister of State for Education has approved the extension of the resumption date for the 2nd term of 2024/2025 Academic Sessions of FUCs from 5th January, 2025 to Sunday, 12th January, 2025.
The extension is due to the ongoing renovation works in most of the FUCs. Please, accept the assurances of my warm regards”.
