Breaking! 2027: Hours after ‘Coalition’ visit, Ganduje, other APC leaders visit Buhari

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee has paid a courtesy visit to former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari. As disclosed in a post shared on the ruling party’s official X handle on Saturday, the APC’s NWC, led by its National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, visited the ex-President at his residence in Kaduna.

 

“The APC National Working Committee (NWC) led by the Party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, visited former President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari, GCFR, at his residence in Kaduna.” The post read.

 

This coming hours after former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, paid a visit to Buhari alongside former APC chieftain and Kaduna governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

As confirmed in a post shared on El-Rufai’s X handle on Friday, the Atiku-led delegates had visited Buhari in what was described as a Post-Salah courtesies.

Other dignitaries spotted during the visit include former Sokoto, Imo, and Benue states governors, Aminu Tambuwal, Achike Udenwa, and Gabriel Suswam. Also spotted was former Minister of Information, Prof. Isa Pantami. While striking a note of warning to the APC and other opposition parties, El-Rufai maintained that the visitation to the former President was not politically motivated but was about unity and brotherhood.

“Former VP Atiku Abubakar, former Governors Aminu Tmbuwal (Sokoto), Achike Udenwa (Imo), Gabriel Suswam (Benue) and I, amkng others, were in Kaduna for Post-Sallah courtesies to former President Muhammadu Buhari. We joined over faithful for Jumaat prayers at the Yahaya Road Mosque and had a sumptuous lunch at the Buhari Residence.

“By the way, our adversaries should not lose any sleep. It is not about politics. It is about unity and brotherhood. And since we are all politically irrelevant, we just prayed and enjoyed lunch with our mentor.” El-Rufai wrote.
