The Executive governor of Rivers State, Mr. Sim Fubara has continued to surprise many by his continued inauguration of projects across the state.
Added to the list of projects commissioned in the state is the Opobo Ring Road with bridges which the governor noted was redesigned and completed in line with the aspirations of his people.
Gov Fubara said “Today, I returned home to commission the Opobo Ring Road and bridges, a project we redesigned and completed to reflect the aspirations and pride of our people.
It was an honour to host my brother, Governor @daudalawal_ of Zamfara State, as the special guest.
Together, we were immersed in and celebrated Opobo/Nkoro’s beauty, peaceful disposition, developmental progress and the unshakable support of the people for this administration. More development is surely coming”.
Recall that Rivers State has been going through series of political turmoils following the disagreement between the governor and his immediate-past predecessor and current FCT Minister, Chief Nyesom Wike.
