Operatives of the Commissioner of Police Special Assignment Unit on Friday neutralized four suspected kidnappers in Delta State. This was disclosed in a terse statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, SP Edafe Bright.
According to him, the police officers engaged and neutralized the four suspected kidnappers along Issele-Uku.
He added that they were responsible for the recent kidnap of a medical doctor, saying before his release, the sum of N15,000,000 was paid. The successful operation came weeks after intelligence gathering and surveillance by the Delta State Police Command.
