What was supposed to be the start of a beautiful future ended in tragedy for a young man named Ubong, a 25-year-old fashion designer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It was learnt that Ubong was reportedly killed by his girlfriend, Esther on Sunday evening at Marine Base.
According to report, after Ubong’s death, she allegedly hid his lifeless body under the bed for three days, while his friends frantically searched for him hoping, praying, that he was safe somewhere.
It was gathered that their worst fears were confirmed when they finally found his hidden body cold and lifeless.
As at the time of this report, Esther, Ubong’s alleged killer was in police custody as investigations are ongoing.
According to reports, she has confessed to poisoning the deceased, claiming that he was constantly cheating on her with other women.
Ubong was known by many as a creative soul—hardworking, passionate, and full of life. His untimely death, it was learnt has left his loved ones, friends, and community in shock and deep sorrow.
