THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Mercy is available, but obedience is better. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
INTRODUCTION
Brethren, there is a cry that comes too late!
The Israelites refused to enter when God said go. They saw the giants, but they forgot the God that divided the Red Sea! And when God saw their fear, He turned away from them.
Then suddenly, they wanted to obey. Suddenly, they wanted to enter the promise. But God had already withdrawn His presence!
Ah! Brethren, what is worse than moving when God has moved on? What is more dangerous than fighting battles without His backing? They wept, they repented, but it was too late. Their tears could not cancel the consequence of their delay.
MAIN MESSAGE :
WHEN TEARS COME TOO LATE. Let me ask you:
Are you fighting for something God has already rejected?
Are you crying over what disobedience destroyed?
Are you chasing opportunities that are no longer yours?
Brethren, grace does not erase consequences! You cannot ignore God’s voice and escape the impact. You cannot say, “I will obey later,” and assume later will still be available!
You ignored God’s warnings about that marriage, and now you are praying over what He told you to leave!
You played with sin, thinking grace would cover it, now you are crying over the ruins of your choices!
You delayed in faith, and now you see someone else walking in what could have been your destiny!
The Israelites thought they could force their way back into God’s will, but Moses warned them, “God is not with you anymore!” And they fell!
Brethren, there is a time to cry and a time to act. If God has given you an instruction, move now! If you have been delaying in obedience, repent before the door shuts!
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, I cry out like the prodigal son! I have ignored Your voice, delayed in obedience, and now I am suffering for my choices. But You had mercy on Manasseh-please, have mercy on me! Do not let my disobedience destroy me! Give me another chance, Lord! In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen!
2. Father, I come before You in brokenness! My rebellion has cost me, my delay has taken things from me, but I know You are a God of restoration! If You forgave Manasseh and welcomed the prodigal son, please forgive me! Restore what I have lost, Lord, and let Your mercy override judgment! In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen!
