The recent sentencing of Sunday Jackson to death for defending himself against Fulani herdsmen is a travesty of justice. Meanwhile, the same Fulani herdsmen who massacred innocent people in Ovia North East, Edo State, just a few days ago, remain unpunished.
This blatant disregard for human life and the rule of law is unacceptable. We demand justice for Sunday Jackson and for the victims of the Ovia massacre.
As Citizens of this Country, we will not remain silent in the face of injustice. We will speak out and demand that our leaders take action to protect all citizens, regardless of their ethnicity or faith.
The time for silence is over. We will not sleep on our rights. Justice must prevail!
