The family of Late Prince Nkwachi Ugbogu, also known as Prince Ugboaja, has announced the burial arrangements for their beloved son, who was tragically killed recently in Aba, Abia state.
Prince Ugboaja, a student of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba (formerly Abia State Polytechnic), was brutally shot dead by suspected cultists who allegedly mistook him for someone else. His sudden and painful death has left family, friends, and the academic community in deep mourning.
According to the burial arrangements released by his family, the funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025:
8:00 AM: Body leaves the mortuary for his father’s compound.
9:00 AM: Lying in state at his father’s residence.
10:00 AM: Funeral service at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Akanu Ngwa.
12:00 PM: Interment follows at his father’s residence, with condolence visits thereafter.
The tragic killing of the 21-year-old has sparked concerns about rising insecurity, with many calling for justice and stronger measures to curb senseless violence.
