# NEW MERCIES DAILY!
MESSAGE TITLE:
THE MOCKED MAN WHO FOUND MERCY
DATE:26/2/26

SCRIPTURE TEXT:
2 Chronicles 33:12-13 (NLT)
“But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“Manasseh’s sin was recorded in heaven-but mercy erased the record!
His disgrace was counted before men-but mercy covered his shame!
His throne was mocked and defiled-but mercy placed him back on it!”
MESSAGE:
Can a man sink so deep in sin that even heaven forgets him? Can someone fall so far that there is no path back to grace? Can a life filled with wickedness, rebellion, and bloodshed ever be redeemed?
If there was ever a man who deserved to be forgotten, it was King Manasseh. If there was ever a soul that deserved eternal judgment, it was him. He was not just a sinner-he was the architect of rebellion! He mocked righteousness, defiled the temple, worshiped demons, and sacrificed his own children in fire!
His wickedness was not hidden-it was celebrated!
His rebellion was not a mistake-it was a lifestyle!
And so, judgment came.
“So the Lord sent the commanders of the Assyrian armies, and they took Manasseh prisoner. They put a ring through his nose, bound him in bronze chains, and led him away to Babylon.” (2 Chronicles 33:11, NLT)
He was dragged from his throne like a dog before his enemies, humiliated before those who once feared him. The throne of his father was disgraced. The house of David was mocked.
Who could pray for such a man?
Who could ask for mercy over such a soul?
Who could believe that heaven still had space for him?
But hear me today!
If Manasseh found mercy, WHO CAN SAY THAT MERCY IS NOT AVAILABLE IF YOU REPENT NOW?
If the heavens could open for a man who led an entire nation into idolatry, then there is no sinner beyond redemption! If the God of Hezekiah still had room for his fallen son, then there is hope for the worst of men-if you repent now!
Let the sinner cry out today!
Let the broken soul fall on his knees!
Let the guilty man weep like Manasseh wept!
Because the same God who forgave him is still on the throne!
And nobody prayed for him!
No prophet stood in the gap.
No priest raised a sacrifice.
No family member pleaded his case.
But in the prison, in the filth, in the chains, when he had lost everything-HE CRIED OUT TO GOD!
And what did God do?
GOD HEARD HIM.
GOD FORGAVE HIM.
GOD RESTORED HIM.
Oh, the depths of divine mercy!
Oh, the mystery of God’s compassion!
Who can understand it?
Who can comprehend this love?
Manasseh’s sin was recorded in heaven-but mercy erased the record!
His disgrace was counted before men-but mercy covered his shame!
His throne was mocked and defiled-but mercy placed him back on it!
A CRY FOR MERCY! LET THE SINNER WEEP!
If God could forgive Manasseh, then He can forgive you now!
Let the drunkard weep!
Let the backslider fall on his face!
Let the prostitute cry out in repentance!
Let the liar, the thief, the wicked, the murderer-all cry for mercy!
Let the cultist cry for mercy!
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Oh God of Covenant, search my family and remember us for good!
If anyone in my bloodline-my father, mother, brothers, sisters, sons, or daughters-has ever pleased You, let their obedience speak for me! As You honored David and Hezekiah, let their faithfulness cover my failures! Let their sacrifices call forth mercy upon my life and household!
2.Oh God of Manasseh, if Your mercy restored a wicked king, let the blood of Jesus-stronger than any human righteousness-speak for me and my children!
If my sins have shut doors, let the blood of Jesus open them! If rebellion has brought delay, let the blood of Jesus restore speed! If my transgressions have pulled me down, let divine mercy lift me up, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
3. Oh Lord, let my name not be erased from Your book of mercy!
Just as You restored Manasseh, let every privilege and blessing lost through sin be restored to me! Let my disgrace be turned into honor, my shame into favor, and my lost throne into a testimony of Your mercy, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
