Job 5:12 – “He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“No plan of the wicked can ever outmaneuver God. Before the enemy devises his scheme, Heaven has already set the counter move in place.”
INTRODUCTION
Have you ever wondered why some people dedicate their lives to plotting evil? They gather in secret places, whispering your name, making decisions that you are not even aware of, believing that their plans will prevail. But I have come with a question today-Who can outsmart God?
The Bible says in Psalm 2:1-4, “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed… He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.”
Listen! There are people who have scheduled your disgrace, planned your downfall, and determined that you will never rise, but the same God who frustrated Haman will frustrate their evil counsel!
Even when God allowed the Israelites to go into captivity, He had already positioned Daniel, Nehemiah, Ezra, Mordecai, and the three Hebrew boys to counter the enemy’s agenda and influence decisions in their favor. That is God for you! He is the Master Planner. He never reacts to the enemy’s schemes-He has already dismantled them before they began!
Haman thought he was in control, but God had already positioned Esther in the palace before his plot was even conceived. This same God is alive today! He is never late, never confused, and never outsmarted!
MESSAGE
There are people who cannot sleep because they are busy planning how to bring you down. They have sat in meetings, written evil reports, and made decrees to shut you down. Some of them have said, “Let us see how he/she will rise!” But I came with a word for you today-Who can outsmart God?
Haman thought he had everything under control. For years, he nursed hatred, carried bitterness, and plotted against Mordecai and the Jews. Why? Not because they did anything to him personally, but because of an old war between the Amalekites and Israel.
He manipulated the king, secured a decree to wipe out the Jews, and even built gallows to execute Mordecai. In his mind, it was finished! The plan was perfect! But what Haman did not know was that before he even made his first move, Heaven had already prepared his defeat!
Before the decree was signed, Esther was already positioned as queen.
Before Mordecai could be executed, the king had already suffered a sleepless night.
Before Haman could celebrate his victory, he was already walking into his own destruction!
Who can outsmart God? Who can set a trap for God’s elect and not fall into it themselves?
Are there people plotting against you? Have they already concluded that you are finished? Have they written you off? Have they placed your name on an altar of destruction? Fear not! The same God who overturned Haman’s decree is still at work today!
They think you are trapped, but God has already made a way of escape. They think the door is closed, but God has already spoken your release!
The same gallows they built for you will be their own downfall! Every evil agenda shall be reversed, and every wicked plan shall be their own destruction!
Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn.”
PRAYER POINTS
Oh Lord, my God, I stand before You in total surrender, knowing that only You can frustrate the plans of the wicked!
1. Father, every evil gathering where my name is being discussed for destruction, scatter them by fire! Let confusion and destruction fall upon them, in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
2. Oh God, every secret decree, every wicked pronouncement, and every plot to bring me shame, let it be overturned by fire! Let their own words become their downfall, in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
3. Mighty Deliverer, just as You lifted Mordecai and disgraced Haman, lift me above the reach of my enemies! Let every trap set for me become the downfall of those who planned it! Let Heaven move swiftly on my behalf, in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
