COUNTERING FALSE MEDIA REPORTS ON MR. NDIANA ASUQUO

We, Mr. and Mrs. Ndiana Asuquo, wish to categorically refute the misleading media posts and pictures falsely alleging a case of domestic violence involving Mr. Ndiana Asuquo.
The said pictures being circulated are in fact from an accident my wife had in July 2024, where she sustained a minor injury and was immediately rushed to a medical facility for first aid treatment. During her treatment, she had requested a woman present at the facility who is also our neighbor to take pictures and forward them to her for personal records. These pictures are now being misrepresented with malicious intent.
We want to categorically State that one Mr. Godwin Edet, who claims to be a Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor and resides in the same compound as us, who was the first to publish this on his timeline is behind this malicious campaign. His high-handedness, arrogance, and criminal activities—including unlawfully invading the compound late at night (sometimes as late as 2 AM) and sponsoring hoodlums who terrorize Udo Udoma Banking Layout—have been a source of conflict between him and myself.
It is also important to note that after a long period of tolerance, I formally reported these criminal activities to the police, leading to the arrest of some of the hoodlums associated with Mr. Godwin Edet on Monday 17/02/2025. These individuals, known for engaging in acts such as Robbery, Cultism along the banking layout smoke’s weeds openly and even planting this illegal substances in a residential house were am breading my young Children at a certain time I reported these to the Landlord who drove from port Harcourt to the compound and uprooted the muariwana and also emphasized on why the compound should be protected at night through locking the Gate, these boys emboldened by assurances from Mr. Godwin Edet, who falsely claims to have the ear of the Governor as been commiting lots of atrocities which formed part of my petition.
Following his failure to secure the release of his boys through his so-called influence from the CMU where the case is tried, Mr. Godwin Edet has resorted to using an old accident photo of my wife in an attempt to blackmail and tarnish my reputation.
In light of these baseless allegations, my wife and I have personally made ourselves available, alongside our children, at the Police Headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia for an on-the-spot assessment of these false claims. We also present a video response debunking the malicious falsehoods being circulated.
We urge the general public, our friends, and our in-laws to completely disregard this misinformation. Our legal team and law enforcement agencies are actively working to identify and bring those responsible for this character assassination to justice.
