…as Salvation Ministries commences annual praise, worship, healing programme

The Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Monday, January 20, 2025, graced the opening session of Glory Reign 2025, the highly anticipated annual praise, worship, and healing programme organized by Salvation Ministries. The event, themed “A New Dawn”, was held at the church’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, drawing a multitude of worshippers and dignitaries to the spiritual gathering.

Governor Fubara, in a show of reverence and solidarity with the Christian community, led a delegation of top government officials and political leaders. Accompanying him were the Deputy Governor, Prof Ngozi Odu; Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Victor Oko-Jumbo; Chief of Staff, Government House, Dr Edison Ehie; and several distinguished political figures and public servants.

Prominent attendees included Senator Lee Maeba, former Transport Minister Dr Abiye Sekibo, and Chairman of the Governing Council of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Chief Adokiye Amiesimaka. The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Hon Robinson Ewoh, and the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emeka Beke, were also present.

Other notable figures who participated in the first day of the programme were Hon Damiete Miller; Chief Ambrose Nwuzi; Chief Oris Oyiri; Chief Ngozi Abu; and Kenneth Mbata. Several members of the State Executive Council, top political leaders, government functionaries, and influential stakeholders from across Rivers State also witnessed the power-packed session.

Glory Reign, known for its dynamic blend of soul-stirring praise, impactful worship, and life-transforming teachings, is a hallmark event of Salvation Ministries led by its founder, Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
