The Executive Governor of Edo State, Sen Monday Okpepholo earlier today commissioned trucks and machines to help the State’s Waste Management Board in its efforts at ensuring cleaner environments and communities.
In a post-commissioning statement, the governor noted that his gesture was part of his mission towards providing a cleaner and healthier environment for all Edo people.
“Today, I had the privilege of commissioning new trucks and machines to support the Edo State Waste Management Board in its mission to create a cleaner and healthier environment for all Edo people”, Gov Okpepholo noted.
The governor further maintained that with the provision of the equipments, the Waste Management Board was better equipped to handle its operations.
“This initiative is a vital step in our commitment to improving waste management infrastructure, ensuring efficient waste collection, disposal, and recycling across our communities.
With these newly acquired resources, the Waste Management Board is better equipped to enhance its operations and drive our vision for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly Edo State. Together, we are building a cleaner, greener future for our state”
