The Solidarity for Good Governance (SGG), Ilorin West Local Government Chapter, under the guidance of our convener *Comrade Abdulwahab Abdulmajeed Temidire (Aburo Gomina)*, has commended *Hon. Sheu Abdulrahman Babatunde Ladan*, the Executive Council Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, for his exceptional leadership and steadfast commitment to his campaign promises.
As the leading grassroots mobilization group in the local government, SGG has been actively involved in the administration’s activities through monitoring, evaluation and investigative journalism since its inception and recognizes the outstanding achievements accomplished within just 100 days.
Under *Hon. Ladan’s* leadership, the local government has recorded significant progress, including the construction of culverts in some communities and prompt, effective responses to pressing issues. Furthermore, his administration has successfully organized initiatives such as a strategic meeting with community leaders and various economic development driven stakeholders to enhance economic activities, foster community development, and bolster local security.
The period has also been marked by the presence of foreign NGOs and investors, job creation, and wealth generation through youth skill acquisition and empowerment programs. These milestones reflect Hon. Ladan’s visionary leadership and dedication to the well being of Ilorin West residents.
The SGG celebrates Hon. Ladan’s 100-day milestone and eagerly anticipates even greater achievements by the time he marks his one year anniversary in office.
