2025: Happier days await Akwa Ibom South -Sen Ekong in New Year message

The Senator representing Akwa Ibom South in the National Assembly, Senator Ekong Sampson has welcomed his constituents and indeed, Nigerians to the new year, 2025. Senator Sampson while congratulating them on seeing the new year said that good times await indigenes of Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District in 2025.

The Onomkpoinam Mkpat Enin in his new year message to constituents earlier this morning, expressed optimism of a better 2025 for Nigerians, particularly for his constituents in Akwa Ibom South. Senator Sampson is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Solid Minerals Development.

Recall that it was an eventful 2024 for Akwa Ibom South, as Senator Sampson unveiled a number of life-touching programmes for constituents, including projects, trainings and empowerments. On the floor of the Senate, it was equally a robust legislative year, as Sampson sponsored some important Bills, Motions, and championed people-oriented advocacy. His Committee engagements were also noteworthy.

Sampson in his 2025 message, promised to better his 2024 performance and hinted that a number of interventions and programmes were already being put in place by his office for the new year, to boost human capital development for constituents, and which will in turn, engender sustainable socioeconomic upliftment among the people.

Senator Sampson expressed appreciation to stakeholders of Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District for their support and the confidence reposed in him, and promised to continue to work towards promoting the interest of Akwa Ibom South, and the larger Akwa Ibom State.

The Lawmaker preached unity and love for one another in the new year, while admonishing citizens to show more patriotism to Nigeria, so as to help overcome some of the country’s challenges. Senator Sampson sued for continuous support and collaboration from constituents in 2025, while wishing them a memorable year ahead.
